The first act really interested me
That’s how I did it and I think it would improve your expectations. It had an original style, the concept was excellent and unique overall. I think this movie totally delivered in the second and third act and they made the most of the idea. The movie, in my opinion, was crazy.
Hell, I’m still not sure I understood 100%
It’s just a constant fear of whatever crazy thing might happen next. If you’re expecting muddled horror, lower your expectations, because it’s mostly psychological and brain-scratching. I seriously needed a hot minute after watching this to process everything. The film itself has excellent sound and soundtrack, and beautiful lighting that sets the tone perfectly.
I think it was worth watching
The acting is honest and good, it makes everything believable, which it really had to be. Perhaps the film would be too difficult for some to understand, which I would completely understand. If you want a complicated but exciting movie, go see it. The last season of "What we do in the shadows" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
